Please be advised that the Kava chain will halt around 20:45 UTC today and will resume after the patch is applied, Expected downtime is expected to be 2 hours or less. Note that all user funds are safe and this upgrade is out of an abundance of caution.

I want to share something I learned something new about Proposal 92. Proposal 92 is just a text proposal (more of a suggestion). It won't enforce the minimum limit if it passes because this proposal has no on-chain mechanism.

When supplying USDX to HARD protocol, it does not currently count towards a user's collateralization ratio. Because liquidations seize all collateral supplied, this means that USDX will be liquidated in the event that a user's borrow position becomes undercollateralized. To avoid this, users who are borrowing should use safe limits to prevent liquidation or consider supplying USDX from a separate address until it is turned on as a collateral. We expect USDX to be turned on as a collateral via governance in the next few weeks.

Kava Update: Cross-Chain Reliability Improvements When a token has a low balance in our Binance deputy, we will now disable the ability to “Load” funds for that token. A “low balance” for a token is considered to be 50% of the maximum swap limit. Below is an example of the error message and disabled button. This should prevent errors when trying to load funds and their aren’t enough available.
