Kava validators are coordinating a network upgrade to address an undisclosed security vulnerability in ethermint, the code which powers the Kava EVM co-chain.
Please be advised that the Kava chain will halt around 20:45 UTC today and will resume after the patch is applied, Expected downtime is expected to be 2 hours or less.
Note that all user funds are safe and this upgrade is out of an abundance of caution.
